How to Use

  • Boil 3-4 cups of Masoor dal in the cooker and pressurise for 2 whistles.
  • Grind and keep 2 medium tomatoes, 2 tsp of ginger, cumin seeds or powder and garam masala.
  • Melt 100g butter in a pan and fry 3 sliced onions with cardamom, cinnamon and cloves.
  • Add the ground masala and fry for 15-20 mins.
  • Add the boiled Masoor dal and add water to make the gravy.
